The herb used to make Blue Yarrow Essential Oil is believed to have been used by Achilles, a figure from Greek mythology. It is said Blue Yarrow oil was used to treat the wounds of his soldiers during the Trojan War. This historical use of the herb may be the reason why the oil was given the Latin name it currently holds.
