Not a widely known essential oil, Balsam of Peru is been used for centuries in a wide range of uses from wound care to flavoring food.

This oil is used holistically to aid in calming, uplifting mood , promote restful sleep, reduce feelings of stress, and useful in meditation.

The color of this oil is pale amber to brown, with a very thick viscous consistency. This "oil" is in a jar. 

This base note is rich, sweet, balsamic, and has a ‘vanilla-like’ aroma.
