Helichrysum is often called Immortelle and Everlasting because of the plant it is derived from. The herb, when dried retains it yellow colored flowers and the fresh cuttings last a long time in water.
The Helicryshum plant is native to France and Italy and neighboring countries. This oil is precious and costly but has a long shelf life.
Emotionally, it is calming and grounding to the mind. Helichrysum reduces mental upset, apprehension and irritability. It is helpful for resolving past hurts and trauma.

It blends well with Bergamot, Black pepper, Cedarwood, Chamomile German, Clary Sage, Cypress, Grapefruit, Juniper, Lemon, Mandarin, Niaouli, Oregano, Palmarosa, Ravensara, Pine, Rosemary, Sage, Tea Tree, Rose, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, Eucalyptus Lemon, Tanacetum Annuum, Roman Chamomile, Yarrow, Geranium, Lavender, Benzoin, Frankincense, Geranium and Patchouli. Do not use more than 5% in a blend.
